Protecting a Helicopter Engine Operating in Desert Conditions
The United States Marine Corps is looking to increase the longevity of their SA-2 Samson Aircraft on the planet of Pandora. They require a new filtration system for the engine intake. Sikorsky aircraft has undertaken the process of producing this equipment. Working with the sponsor from Sikorsky, George Dominguez, a filtration system shall be produced for implementation on the SA-2 Samson in addition to a system model to illustrate the inner workings of the filtration system.
Our team collaborated with Mechanical Engineering 30 on this project.
