smaRt heaRt

The smaRt heaRt device is a portable, user-friendly system designed to measure Heart Rate Variability (HRV), an important indicator used in cardiac risk assessment within cardiology. By enabling real-time data collection, the device supports more accessible and continuous patient monitoring. Collected HRV data is transmitted through a web-based application to the patient’s physician or cardiologist, where it is analyzed to assist in risk stratification and to inform decisions about further diagnostic testing when necessary. CSE Team 24’s project focuses on developing this web application while also enhancing the device’s data accuracy and optimizing the efficiency of data transmission.

Our team collaborated with Electrical and Computer Engineering 19 on this project.
