CTng Protocol Implementation
Our project is to implement the CTng protocol, a redesigned Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) system that improves how digital certificates are issued, validated, and revoked. It builds on Certificate Transparency (CT), while fixing its key weaknesses, over-reliance on trusted entities, and weak revocation mechanisms. Both of these weaknesses introduce vulnerabilities to internet security. CTng aims to achieve strong security guarantees without fully trusting any single party thus fulfilling No Trusted Third Party, or NTTP.
