This project focuses on the creation of a closed-loop control system for variable geometry metal trace heaters for aerospace applications. The system regulates heater temperature using sensor feedback and a microcontroller-driven PWM signal. The work builds upon our sponsor's prior thermal control systems but also introduces new electronic control, PCB design, and simulation-based optimization methods.
