This project, sponsored by FuelCell Energy, aimed to redesign the exterior enclosure of FuelCell Energy's power plants to improve aesthetic appeal for urban markets while maintaining safety and performance. The team produced a fully integrated CAD design, verified ventilation compliance against internal standards, conducted a cost analysis demonstrating minimal added expense relative to contract scale, and is completing structural validation through FEA. The result is an aesthetically modernized enclosure that meets all applicable safety codes and engineering requirements without compromising the system's core functionality or serviceability.
