Pfizer is the primary stakeholder in this project as they are sponsoring the project and have provided technical support and funding for the project. The mission of Pfizer as a company with this project is to be more environmentally sustainable. The scope of this project is to explore the thermodynamics of air handling units and calculate the amount of condensate being produced. Additionally, collect the condensate being produced from the penthouse air handling units and send it over to the cooling towers. The team will also be exploring the possibility of including the air handling units in the basement to the scope of this project. The goal of this project for the mechanical engineering team is to develop a theoretical system that collects the condensate being produced and sends it to the cooling towers. Our partners from the environmental engineering department will be developing a system to treat the water and making sure that it meets the standards to be reused.
