Precision Loading Hardware
This project's objective is to research, design, and test precision hardware capable of providing precision loads without specialty tooling or assembly techniques. Currently, for M3-10 bolts, there are no existing devices that indicate when a specific load is met between a bolt head and its mating surface. Ensuring proper force between the bolt head and mating surface is instrumental to achieving the level of precision necessary to create molds of semiconductors. This process can take valuable time and this project was created to seek potential solutions to eliminate lengthy time-dependent tasks ensuring force ranges are met.
