Automated Optical Inspection
Printed circuit boards (PCBs) often undergo multiple rounds of quality-assurance inspection during and after assembly. One element of this is optical inspection, either by a machine or a human. Our project is a scanner device that performs an optical inspection on circuit boards to detect and localize anomalies. The collected data (pictures of the defective boards with the defective parts clearly highlighted, historical data, etc.) is then visualized on a desktop app.
