Our group worked on the structural design of a new single story convenience store with steel construction located in Bristol, CT. The projects main components were the cold-formed steel roof truss design, structural steel wall design, curtain wall design, structural steel floor design with a concrete deck, basement wall design with retaining walls, foundation design, and environmental impact considerations. All of these aspects came together to create a brand new building design that is safe, effective, and economical.
