Secure Embedded Wireless Vehicle Control Architecture
Our senior design project is a secure robotic communication system built on a ZCU102 Evaluation Board that integrates real-time control, encryption, and wireless communication. The system enables a user to control a mobile robot through a web-based interface, with commands transmitted via a Node.js server to an embedded C bridge, then over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to an onboard microcontroller. To ensure security, the system implements AES-GCM encryption, protecting communication against interception and tampering. The architecture combines software flexibility with hardware acceleration potential, demonstrating a scalable platform for secure embedded systems and IoT applications.
Our team collaborated with Computer Science & Engineering 20 on this project.
