Avionics Chassis Design for Harsh Environment Survivability
The objective of this project is to analyze, design, and manufacture an avionics computer chassis intended to host computational electronics capable of withstanding space ascent and reentry conditions. Unmanned space vehicles encounter extremely harsh conditions upon exit and reentry of Earth’s atmosphere. The avionics chassis houses the most vital computer components for spaceflight, responsible for GPS control and flight positioning.
Our team collaborated with Electrical and Computer Engineering 7 on this project.
