The objective of this project is to analyze and study the cause of a bearing walking off a shaft, identify possible root causes and recommend potential fixes to prevent the bearing from “walking off” or moving axially off the bearing shoulder. The sponsor requests a design criterion for future design based on interface pressure and interference fit.
