The Collins Aerospace Windsor Locks site seeks to improve the energy use, sustainability, operation, and reliability of its Combined Heat and Power System. The system needs to be evaluated from a thermodynamic perspective, and controls and operation practices should be reviewed. Current and emerging technologies should be evaluated for feasibility, cost- effectiveness, and efficacy in reducing energy consumption, GHG emissions, and/or water usage.
