As the demand for efficient, accurate, and cost-effective surveying techniques continues to grow, this project aims to modernize and streamline the way transportation infrastructure is assessed and managed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) by developing a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), capable of creating high resolution 3D models for DOT inspection reports.
